This is so strange. I have been looking for weeks. I am not interested in your opinion if this is a scam, well I am. But, it is not relevant to my concern/question. I am not looking for "colleges" or information on typical(more standard types of education). I am not looking to obtain a degree or a diploma from an accredited information. I do not how to provide more clarity. Please keep the above in mind when responding. It is strange no one ever does.

4-6 months ago I surfed across a website. This website had literally thousands(ok possibly only hundreds) of classes from Philosophy to Art To Sexuality. These ‘courses’ were offered by regular people(for the most) part who considered them selves experts in the area. You could log into this site, track classes you were interested in, watch videos about the classes, review selected classes interact with others and teachers. I am 70% sure the site was called something universe or universe something. I do not know, I do not remember. The classes ranged from $20-35(about) without a certification of completion mailed. If you want a hard copy ‘cert’ not a degree the cost went up to about $50-90.

I mean this place had every topic under the sun. It was in expensive. Classes were flexible. It was just a cool idea. If you think it is a stupid or pathetic idea that is fine. I do not see how complaining about that here answers my question. If you are an idiot who is unable to market their MLM/online business and you want to post me 4-5 words and a link to your silly online business you are failing at…. That is spam, that is not fine. It is not useful or relevant to the question. It is a direct violation. Keep that in mind before you market your crap.

I graduated about a year ago with a B.S. in general education, and I will graduate this May with a B.A. in history. I am considering going for an online Master’s in Higher Education Administration. Before I make the commitment to such a program, I am wondering if there is a strong job market for a degree such as this?

There’s an "artificial" market, in that many Boards of Education insist on ordinary teachers getting Muster’s and Doctorate degrees, and rewarding these degrees.

However, graduate degrees aimed at teachers have a very bad reputation — odorous, in fact. The doctorate in Education (Ed.D/DeD) is a joke, and the MHEA is not much better.

You won’t learn much with an MHEA — but you may get a pay raise.

Am I in over my head? If anybody on YA! went to college and learned any of these concepts, which will be the most difficult. I’ll be starting soon, and im taking any advice I can get! Thanks-Randy

NOW AFTER READING THIS JUST TELL THAT WHETHER THE FILM WILL BECOME A HIT….STAR IT IF INTERESTING.
Manivannan, Father of Rajini, a well settled businessman in township of Tamil Nadu. He has his own business of managing private mini buses, a rice mill. He made rajini to stay in US to do his education and higher studies. Suman, a big shot in the same town tries to acquire manivannan’s well running businesses and run it under his name. But, Manivannan as a prestigious gentlemen, made it as joint venture. As usual, Suman betrays manivannan and bankrupt him. In the meantime, Suman came to know that Rajini who is in US has completed his education and having his own marketing contacts there. He suspects that Rajini may comeback to Tamil Nadu to take a revenge on him.
As expected Rajini too come for a visit, but actually to take his father Manivannan to US. Unfortunately for his shocking manivannan was working as a labour in his own Rice mill.

Here starts the battle between Rajini and Suman. Our hero tries to rebuild back all their wealth.

At this point, Suman thinks as a criminal and seeks his friend Raguvaran’s help who is in US. He asks Raguvaran to collapse all the ownings of Rajini in US, from where Rajini and Manivannan may get financial support.

But for everybodys surprise, both in US and TamilNadu, our heros name and business grows like peak. Rajini starts a transport corporation and offers public a cheap travel all over Tamil Nadu. His business makes revolution allover and government them self will come down to make a tie-up with Rajini. As days go on, business grows to many areas of public utilities and Rajini embarks his name as Kingmaker.

Both Suman and Raguvaran cannot stop the growth of our Hero. They surprise how it is not possible to move a single pin in US even when Rajini is in TN.

Suspence of whole story lies here. Now comes the Second Rajini, a younger brother. Yup, double action. A multimillionaire business man across continents. Creates revolution in online marketing and teleshopping.

Climax is still kept suspence how this villian group clashes with Rajinis and breaks their noses. Hope we can see any megastars coming into picture….

Thinking about taking some courses online. My work experience is well, a little irregular (customer service, seafood processor), and I am ready for a career change, but am leery of all the ‘online’ courses offered..has anyone completed one and been successful with the job placement afterword?

i m intersted in pursuing a distance education proffessional course (most likely M.B.A.) ….due to family committments …but i wanted to know if such online degrees hold any value in the real job market …especially here in u.k…..can i expect to find a good income job after finishing off my degree? plzz advice

There may be some value in what you learn.

In terms of extra money, I’d like to say that the value of an online degree is zero — but the fact is it may actually be negative.

Employers will not take an online degree seriously. Most online universities are For Profit corporations that will accept nearly anyone. The lack of selectivity alone makes the degree worthless. However, recent problems at the University of Phoenix reflect on the whole Online University industry. They were recently fined $9.8MM for sleazy recruiting practices. They are now being investigated for padding their placement numbers. In addition, a recent NY Times article points out how many large companies (like Intel, for example) are refusing to pay for their employees to take classes there — because it lacks rigor.

Many of these "universities" advertise the fact that they are accredited. However, they usually have regional accreditation and not the more prestigious national accreditation.

All of that being said — there are some respectable MBA programs that combine distance learning with on-site learning. Duke University, for example, has two such programs.

I have minimal to zero academic business knowledge, but I want to pursue a career change from a BFA in Jazz/Music Performance to a career as a Retail Buyer. Currently, I’m enrolled at Keller Graduate School of Management (an online grad school).

My plan is to eventually transfer to a “real” graduate program in Marketing. Is Keller a good place to start in order to get the “business essentials?” Is there a better and more affordable way to prepare? Or is there something else I’m not thinking of?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Having looked at the website, I have questions about the school’s accreditation. I don’t know whether credits earned there are going to be transferable to another school. If I were you, I would call around to some graduate programs in the area and see whether your credits would be accepted. I’d hate to see you waste your time and money.
