you can dramatically increase your opt in and or sales on your site, it works

I have a business web site that needs promoting and key wording to reach more customers what is the-?

best way to do this, I understand it is called SEO or something, what companies do this and what kind of cost would I expect to spend. Its alternative therapy business that is very rare so there won’t be a huge amount of competition to do this but at the moment if I type my web address into google it space bar its not even registering.

Hi Tao,

Best thing do to for your business website right now is to start with

1) META tags
Define your title, keywords and website description

2) Indexing of your website
Submit your website manually to all the search engines

3) Backlinks
Try to partner up with different websites within the same niche and anchor your keyword that you want to rank for so for example
< a href = " your website " >alternative therapy< / >

If you do this, believe me, you will be on the good path. I also send you an email if you need any help with this. I am glad to help you :)

I don’t know much about SEO, Tao. But as I understand it, your website need tags, or keywords that the search engines can pick up. There’s a lot of good info on the web about SEO, and also at http://www.meetup.com there are sometimes SEO meetup groups that could help – I dunno if one is where you are though, couldn’t hurt to check it out.

You can probably get SEO low cost as there are high school kids out for the summer who are very skilled technically – not sure how to find them, teen chat rooms maybe or an ad on a local bulletin board? Whatever you do, DON’T pay an arm and a leg – there’s LOTS of competition out there.

Yes, the tags are called metatags, and the bots from the search engines go around and catalogue those for purposing of indexing your site.

Try to think up as many keywords as you can, you might even try common misspellings of terms – such as "mindfullness" etc..

There are many ways to get more traffic to your website but Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the main thing.

First, all your web pages have META tags and each page should have a page name/title, page description and keywords. Secondly you should upload a site map to Google Webmaster Tools and third you could also use Google Adwords and indicate specific targeted keywords that potential customers may search for that will find your web site where you "Pay Per Click".

I suggest you check out Webtronic Webdesign because you can import your existing website from the free trial link and this All-in-One website has a built-in SEO system which includes daily site indexing to Google, Yahoo and Bing. It also includes website hosting and you can ad your Meta tages, page descriptions and keywords without any HTML knowledge.

Go to http://webtronic.com.au/ and watch the 5 minute online video demonstration (and) you can even take a free 30-Day trial with no commitments, no contracts or cost whatsoever.

I use this this All-in-One website system because YOU have complete control. It’s easy to use and because it saved me weeks of time and it saved me thousands and thousands of dollars I am happy to recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Google "SEO Article Writing" and you’ll get a ton of results, including guidebooks.

In a general sense, you want to try and determine the key words people who may be interested in your products would type into google. I believe I found that most commonly, people now use 3-5 words in their search.

So, you determine various keyword phrases that people might use, like "alternative therapy products" or "buy holistic medicine", etc. and for each keyword phrase, write an article around 500 words that includes the keyword phrase in the title, and in the body of the article, about 5 – 10 times without sounding forced.

You can write the articles yourself, or you can find various sites that will produce the articles for you for about $10 per article.

Also, by searching the internet you can find free tools/sites that show which keyword phrases are more commonly searched for, if you get really into it.

I am actually having the same problem with a site that I am creating on the Annapolis Valley region of NS. (http://www.annapolisvalleylocaflied.ca) I would love if some people who know something about SEO could have a look at my site and make suggestions.

To the original poster, I have found some web directories that you can submit your site to inorder to help with link building, page rank, etc. Let me know if you want them

I would recommend you approach a reliable SEO company that has good track record, in terms of achieving organic rankings in search engines.

I know it sounds pretty easy, optimising a website but you will only realise in the long run that it’s not really that easy as an online tutorial mentioned.

Everyone may implement what they read online and try out on their website, but achieving the organic results it’s entirely a different story.

I know a company who are good at what they do, but I doubt if they work on non-automotive related websites. Their prices are very very affordable and their clients includes many of the industry leading auto manufacturers. May be you could give a call and ask if they are interested in optimising your website, which is a non-automotive. Also you could ask their advice for an SEO company who do optimise a website and promote it to rank high in search engines. the url is http://www.ManheimRetailMarketing.co.uk
